01 / The beginning
Behind the strap
is a photographer.
I’m Lorenz. Photography and film have been part of my life since my youth. At 16, I founded my own media production business. Making images became both a passion and my work.
Street photography brought another perspective: having a camera with me in everyday life. It also made me look more closely at my gear. I wanted a camera strap that worked well and felt as good as it looked.

When I couldn’t find the right strap, Strapnstyles began. The search turned into developing my own ideas and products.

In Potsdam, an idea becomes something you use every day. We design, sew, check and pack our camera straps by hand. This is where design meets craft.
