Lorenz is 185 cm tall. All three examples are worn around the neck. Body shape, clothing and camera affect the fit.

A piece of string and a tape measure are all you need to find a length for your body and carrying style.
Measured end to end, including split rings or attachment loops. The camera itself is not included.
Try your carrying style
Around the neck, over one shoulder or across your body: place the string as you intend to wear the strap. Hold the camera at your preferred height.
Measure end to end
Bring the string to the camera’s attachment points. Mark both ends and measure it flat. Also check that you can comfortably raise the camera to your eye.
Compare with your model
Compare your measurement with the lengths above. Try the selected length once more with the string. If your model offers “Custom length”, you can enter your preferred measurement there.

Are the attachments included in the length?
Yes. We measure end to end, including the split ring or attachment loop. The camera itself is not part of the measurement.
Can I order a custom length?
If your chosen model offers “Custom length”, select it on the product page and enter your measurement in the dedicated field. If the option is missing, ask us before ordering.
Is every strap adjustable?
No. Many of our straps have a fixed length. The product description states whether a model is adjustable. For a fixed-length strap, choose the measurement you have tried beforehand.
Which length suits my height?
Height is only a starting point. Your torso, clothing, camera size and carrying style all affect the fit. That is why we recommend the string method. The photos show Lorenz, who is 185 cm tall.
My measurement falls between two lengths. What now?
Try both available lengths with a piece of string. Choose the camera position that feels better. If you are still unsure, send us your measurement, height and carrying style.
Will the strap fit my camera?
Length and attachment are two separate questions. Compare the connector shown on the product page with your camera’s attachment points. If unsure, send us your camera model or a photo of the attachment.
